Keith J. Donoven, 92, passed away due to natural causes on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Northern Montana Care Center.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at First Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.  Keith's family has suggested memorial donations be made in his memory to the Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Keith was born on September 17, 1930, in Havre to Lloyd and Irene (Knutson) Donoven.  He was raised on the family farm outside of Kremlin, and attended school in Kremlin.  After graduation, Keith attended Northern Montana College for a year and then went back to farming.  On October 15, 1951, he married Marlene Newlan, and the couple raised their three children on the farm.  Keith farmed until this past summer, when he retired.

Keith enjoyed working in his shop, taking Marlene dancing, and having a good conversation.  He was a member of the Kremlin Lutheran Church and the Havre Eagles Club.

He was preceded in death by his son, Barry (Diane) Donoven; parents, Lloyd and Irene Donoven; siblings, Earl and Lyle Donoven; and his faithful companion, Lady.

Keith is survived by his wife, Marlene Donoven of Havre; children, Shelley (Tom) Kippert of Casa Grande, AZ, and Brian (Patty) Donoven of Havre; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
