Justina P. Waldner, 88 years old, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer, with all of her family by her side.  Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the Sage Creek Colony Church.  Burial will follow in the Sage Creek Colony Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Justina was born on October 18, 1933, in Raymond, Alberta, to Peter and Mary (Wipf) Kleinsasser.  After numerous moves, she settled in at Sage Creek Colony.  She married on May 31, 1956, to her loving husband Paul, and the couple was happy together for 65 years.  Justina had many Colony jobs, among them kindergarten teacher, and head cook for 16 years.  She was a great example of how we should carry ourselves with dignity, and to respect our culture and history.

She was a friendly and sociable person, and befriended all she met.  Justina had a nurturing spirit and would go out of her way to make everyone feel loved and cared for.  Her favorite pastimes were reading, singing hymns, and knitting.

Justina is survived by her husband, Paul; sons, Peter (Martha), Paul (Susie), and Joe (Linda) Waldner, all of Chester; daughters, Mary (Ron) Kleinsasser of Chester, Anna (Sam) Kleisasser, and Justina (Leonard) Kleinsasser, both of Cut Bank, Lydia (Mike) Hofer of Gildford, and Susanna (Ed) Hofer of Wolf Creek; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary, and brother Peter.
