June Sutherland, 40, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Wake services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, and her funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church. June was born on May 26, 1978, in Spokane, WA, to Roger and Tuesday (Birdtail) Sutherland. She was raised in Helena and Rocky Boy, attending Box Elder High School. While in high school, June began a long relationship with Dani Buffalo, and the couple had four children together before separating. Over the next several years, June lived in a few different places including Helena, Spokane, and Billings, before returning home to Rocky Boy. She was a loving woman who enjoyed socializing and shopping, and she cared deeply for her family and friends, always full of compliments about her children and grandchildren. Whenever you saw June, she had a smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her father Roger Sutherland and her grandparents.

June is survived by her children Dana (Luke DeCrane) Sutherland and Dani Buffalo, all of Rocky Boy, Dominic Buffalo of Billings, and Alescia Buffalo of Missouri; two grandchildren, Kyrin and Elaina DeCrane; mother Tuesday Sutherland of Rocky Boy; siblings, Gavin Sutherland of Helena, Brandon Sutherland of Rocky Boy, Rogerina Sutherland of Spokane, Roger (Melinda Lamere) Sutherland, Jr. of Rocky Boy, and Dalberta "Boots" Faletogo of Spokane; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
