Obituary

Judy Parker, 63, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Hospital on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.  Wake services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, all at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Box Elder.  Burial will follow in the Lamere Family Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Judy was born on August 7, 1958, in Fort Belknap to Victor and Josephine (Mosney) Lamere, Sr.  She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending Rocky Boy Elementary School, and graduating from Box Elder High School in 1976.  Judy went on to attend the University of Montana in Missoula for a year, and then completed her associates degree in business at Northern Montana College in Havre.  She married Martin Parker in 1986, and the couple had four children, whom they raised in Rocky Boy.  Judy was a hard worker, working for the Chippewa Cree Tribe, Rocky Boy Schools, and most recently the Rocky Boy Health Center.  While working, she also cared for her husband, children, and their home.

Judy was a kind, compassionate woman, who enjoyed traveling, outdoor activities, reading and watching her crime shows.  She was very outgoing, and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Lamere, Sr., and Josephine St. Marks; brothers, Victor "Pucksue" Lamere, Jr., Robert Lee Lamere, Melvin Lamere, and Eugene Lamere; and sister, Betty Jean Lamere.

Judy is survived by her husband of over 35 years, Martin Parker of Rocky Boy; daughters, Carly (Josh Raining Bird) Parker, Jenea (Josh Ochoa) Parker, and Shania Parker, all of Rocky Boy; son, Joel Parker of Rocky Boy; four grandchildren, J'Leanna and Mari'Ella Raining Bird, Hollis Ochoa, and Kendrin Parker; sisters, Victoria Demontiney and Mildred (Wilson Mitchell) Lamere, both of Rocky Boy; brother, Billy Lamere of Rocky Boy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family and many friends.
