Obituary

Juanita L. LaMere, 60, passed away due to natural causes on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Northern Montana Care Center.  Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, and will continue until her funeral service which will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2024, all at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Box Elder.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Juanita was born on December 7, 1963, in Great Falls, to Matthew and Viola (LaRocque) LaMere.  She was raised in Great Falls, attending school there.  After her high school years, Juanita attended job corps in Salt Lake City, UT, where she trained in home repairs.  She returned to Great Falls, and there Juanita had her four children, whom she remained at home to care for.

Juanita was a quiet woman who was shy with strangers, but she enjoyed teasing those she loved.  She liked beading, crafts, visiting family, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Rory LaMere; parents, Matthew and Viola LaMere; and siblings, Natalie LaMere, Althea Bear, and Tracey Parisian.

Juanita is survived by her children, Avery (Jessica) LaMere, Cree (Tyler Foster) LaMere, and Jasmine LaMere, all of Great Falls; seven grandchildren, Adam, Rory, Payton, Diamond, Armonie, Alex, and Ava; siblings, Carmelita "Peeps" LaMere of Rocky Boy, Chine (Joe) Rosette of Box Elder, and Shelley Leonard of Great Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
