Joyce L. Sande, 83, passed away due to natural causes at her residence on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Cremation has taken place, and at Joyce's request, no services will be held. Her family has requested that memorial donations be made in Joyce's name to the Havre Animal Shelter.

Joyce was born on April 13, 1934, in Gillette, WY, to Perry and Ruth (Harper) Whitcher, and moved to Havre while in her early years. In 1953, she married Jim Sande, and the couple had four children. They made their home near Fresno, where they owned and operated Sande's Tavern until 1976, when they purchased Andy's Supper Club. Joyce and Jim continued their partnership in life and work until 2015, when Jim passed away soon after their 64 ^th anniversary. After Jim's death, Joyce continued to spend her time at Andy's, where the customers adored her.

Joyce was a truly hard-working woman, who loved her family, and was proud of the 64 years she and her husband spent together. She and Jim taught their children the importance of family and a true work ethic.

She was preceded in death by her husband and partner of 64 years, Jim Sande; her two children, Diane and Jesse; and her parents.

Joyce is survived by her two daughters, Dorothy and Judy Sande; her granddaughters, Candice (Casey) Delaney and Jessica (Charlie) Sande; her first great-grandchild, who is due in June; and her many customers and friends with whom she treasured spending time.
