Joyce was born in Havre MT on February 12, 1941 to the late Glen and Beryl (Sapp) Springer. She graduated from Havre Central High, where she also had a successful dancing debut. She moved to California where she worked for Western Airlines, living in Hollywood. She had fond memories of that time which she always loved to share. Returning home, she married Herman Pruys, Jr "Junior" in 1964. After having her two daughters, she followed her dreams and began her own dancing school, "Joyce's School of Dance". She loved teaching and even more so all of her many students. In addition, she loved hanging out with her family, granddaughters and friends. She loved camping, playing games, traveling, singing in the St. Jude choir and going out dancing. Joyce was full of life and loved to have fun. She will be greatly missed. Her love for life will live on in the memories of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Junior, and her sisters Jean Kinderman and Crystal Springer.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Carol (Paul) Tenorio and Mary (Sean) Gibson; her beautiful granddaughters Ashley (Johnny) Ortiz, and Brook and Carly Wooldridge; as well as her great-grandchildren, Jack and Ophelia Ortiz; sister-in-law, Anna Berg; brother-in-law, Mike Fitz; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins she loved to visit.
We would like to extend a special thank you to her sister-in-law Anna Berg, friends, the staff at Timbercreek and then at the Care Center who did their best to give Joyce joy in the last few years.
