Joyce Elaine (Olson) Howieson, 89, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Care Center on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Cremation has taken place, and graveside services will be held later this year. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Joyce was born May 4, 1928 in Chinook, Blaine, Montana, to Esther Mae and Oswald Alfred Olson. Joyce had a younger brother Gary Olson of Arizona (deceased).

Joyce married Robert Edward Tuck of St. Anthony, Idaho, on May 16, 1946 in Havre, Montana. Robert and Joyce had 7 children: Gayelynnette (deceased1946 in Chinook, Montana); Lindsay Manaras of Columbia Falls, Montana; Steve Kim Tuck of Newport, Oregon; Alan Scott Tuck of Medford, Oregon; Jonathan Bruce Tuck, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Kelly Joe Tuck of Helena, Montana; and Robert Davis Tuck (deceased 1960 in Havre, Montana). Joyce and Robert were divorced in 1962.

Joyce remarried in 1964 to Robert Burns "Scotty" Howieson of Havre. Joyce was preceded in death by Robert Howieson in 1998. Robert had two daughters: Joanie Lotton and Roberta Wolfe.

Joyce had 22 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
