Joseph J. "Mahoney" St. Marks, 49, passed away due to natural causes at Bingham Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 4, 2022.  Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, all at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the Denny Family Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Mahoney was born on March 10, 1972, in Helena to Peter and Caroline (Denny) St. Marks.  He was raised mainly in Rocky Boy, attending school in Havre.  The family relocated to Idaho when Mahoney was 16, and he remained there until his death.  He worked for Dawn Enterprises in Blackfoot, ID, where he continued his education.  He retired last year due to his health.

Mahoney enjoyed listening to music and putting puzzles together.  He loved spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Peter J. St. Marks, Sr., and his sisters, India Dorothy, & Dixie St. Marks.

Mahoney is survived by his mother, Caroline St. Marks of Fort Hall, ID; siblings, Summer St. Marks of Pocatello, ID, Carma St. Marks of Minnesota, Sheryl St. Marks of Rocky Boy, Jay Swan of New Mexico, Carol Swan of Havre, and Rhonda Swan-Rodriguez of Blackfoot, Idaho; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
