In Loving Memory of Joseph Tyler Henderson

Joseph Tyler Henderson passed away on September 22, 2026. Joseph was born on February 22, 1993, in Havre, Montana, to Stephanie “Kim” Whitford and Gregory Raymond Henderson. He spent the beginning of his life on the family ranch in Warwick, Montana. After the passing of his father, Joe and his family moved to Havre, where he attended school in Havre and Box Elder. He later went on to earn his GED.

Joe was a hardworking, talented man who could do just about anything. He was a jack-of-all-trades, with experience ranging from construction to ranch work. He married Jaelyn Long Time Sleeping on January 2, 2015, in Cut Bank, Montana. Although their marriage later ended in divorce on December 19, 2024, they remained friends.

Joe enjoyed living life to the fullest. He loved the cowboy lifestyle, playing music, and spending time with friends and family. Some of his happiest moments were spent having jam sessions with those he loved. In his free time, Joe especially enjoyed spending time and gaming with his nephews.

Joe was a friend to everyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. He was everyone’s favorite big cousin and the best uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Joe was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. His generous heart, sense of humor, and willingness to help others will be deeply missed.

Joe is survived by his mother, Kim Henderson; sisters, Felicia Henderson, Farrah Henderson, Felynn Henderson, Temper Sturgis (Daniel), Megan Hallenberg (Brandon), and Amber Bull Calf (Bryce); brother, Faron Henderson (June); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Greg Henderson; paternal grandparents, Gregory and Elaine Henderson; maternal grandparents, Hank and Maryann Whitford; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Joe leaves behind a lifetime of memories and countless people who loved him. His memory will live on through his family, friends, music, stories, and all of the lives he touched.
