John P. Wipf passed away at the age of 74 on May 17, 2024.

John was a remarkable and hard-working individual, who brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.  His infectious happiness and loving nature made him a beloved figure among is family and friends.  He had a unique talent for making people feel welcome and cherished, and his jokes never failed to brighten the room.

John's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  His laughter, warm presence, and unconditional love will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

John Wipf is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Linda (Tom) Waldner, Martha (Sam) Kleinsasser, Susan (Tom) Kleinsasser, Judy (Brennan Prestenbach) West, and John (Susan) Wipf; twenty-four grandchildren; several siblings; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Sarah Wipf; four sisters; and three nephews.

Dad, we will miss you dearly!

Wake services will begin on Saturday, May 18, 2024, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 11:30 on Monday, May 20, 2024, all at the Hartland Colony Church.  Burial will follow in the Hartland Colony Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
