John Danell, born June 29, 1945, passed away at his home in Seattle on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

John was born and raised in Havre, Montana, and graduated from Havre High School in 1963 and Northern Montana College in 1965.

He then moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington where he earned two Bachelor degrees, one in Aeronautical Engineering in 1968 and one in Industrial Engineering in 1969.  John then started work for Boeing on the Super Sonic Transport Program.  Afterwards, he worked for the Department of Defense at Boeing until he retired in August of 2005.  After retiring, John worked as an usher in Key Arena until it closed for remodel in 2018.

John will be buried at Highland Cemetery in Havre next to his parents, Eleanor and Arthur Danell and his sister, Frances Steckel.  There will be no memorial service, at his request.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
