John Chiefstick Jr. "Spirit Horse", 60, of Rocky Boy, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Spirit Horse fought a good fight. A wake will start at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Old Senior Citizens Center in Rocky Boy and will continue until Monday, April 9, 2018 when a Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Chiefstick Family Cemetery. John was born on July 10, 1957 to Cindy Weesaw and John Chiefstick Sr. in Havre. He attended Rocky Boy and Box Elder schools.
He was a proud man, great mentor and protective brother. he loved his privacy and lived the simple life. John was a hard worker and took pride in any work that he did, no matter what it was. His biggest passion was his Native American Artwork and he was well known in the Native Country for it. He had a sense of humor that could put a smile on anybody's face.
John enjoyed listening to old school music; CCR, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rolling Stone, Dire Straights and ACDC. He had a gentle soul and loved spending time with horses, especially his horse, Streak. John had a big heart and found solutions for every problem and made sure everybody was well and taken care of. He had a huge heart and was always willing to help out when he could.
He is survived by his mother Rema Lydia Chiefstick; brothers, Gerald Lightfoot, Jason Vincent (Cynthia), and Justin (Wahban); sisters, Tina (Gordon), Claudine (Loren), Corrine (Dennis), Leona, April (Jason), Sherry (Holy Star), Sirena, Rema Eagleman and Jackie; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
John will forever be missed. His memory will carry on and will never be forgotten.
