Jodell Lee "Jody" Downhour, 54, of Havre, passed away Thursday, August 4. 2016. Cremation has taken place and services will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle's Campground in Beavercreek Park. Jody was born on July 4, 1962 to John and Jeanice (Crumb) Downhour in Faribault Minnesota. She graduated from Karlstad High School in 1980, and attended Thief River Falls Vo-Tech where she received her certificate in cosmetology in 1982. That same year, Jody moved to Glasgow where she married Ray Greenough, and the couple was blessed with two sons. They later divorced, and Jody relocated to Havre with her boys. A few years later, she gave birth to a daughter. After several years, she married Pete Cremer, and they had one son. They too later divorced. Jody worked at Buttrey's, first in Glasgow, then Havre, for over 15 years. After leaving Buttrey's, she began working at Walmart, where she remained until her death.

Jody loved to fish, camp, and float the Milk River. She enjoyed scrapbooking and rocking out to 80's music. Time with her family was incredibly special to Jody, and she absolutely treasured her grandchildren, especially her grandson Adriel Greenough, whom she raised. She was a true animal lover, who adored all of her various pets. Jody was especially proud of being 14 years clean, and was an active member of NA, helping reach out to as many people as she could. Her favorite holiday was July 4th (her birthday), and she loved all things red, white and blue.

Jody was preceded in death by her son Jared Downhour; her mother Jeanice Downhour; and her nephew David Graham.

She is survived by her partner Jeff Mosbrucker of Havre; her children Ryan (Justine) of Havre, Robert (Chanette) Greenough of Glasgow, and Janae (Kan Sriplod) and Jordan Cremer, all of Havre; her fourteen grandchildren; her father John Downhour, Sr. of Havre; her siblings, John Downhour, Jr. of Cut Bank, Jill Gideon (Gunnar Valdimarsson) of Havre, Jeff (Vicki) Downhour of Helena, and Jen (Gordon) Graham, Judy (Mark) Hagenau, and Joel (Tammy) Downhour, all of Havre; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
