Joan A. Leeds passed away on July 23, 2016. She was born July 19, 1931 to Joe & Janine Skindell. A long time Havre resident, Joan married Lyle Leeds in 1951.

Joan participated in Catholic Daughters, Cub Scouts and the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL). An accomplished bridge player, Joan was most proud of attaining the rank of Grand Master on the international level. Travel was also a favorite past time, particularly the tropical islands of the Pacific and Caribbean.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Janine Skindell, her first husband, Lyle Leeds in 1987, her second husband, Bernie Patrick in 2012, her sister, Sister Mary Ann Skindell, and grandson, Anders Hauge.

Joan is survived by her sister Toby Helmbrecht, her six children David Leeds (Cyndi), Janine Leeds, Marcia Haroldson (Eugene), Laura Leeds (Mike Coyne), Scott Leeds, and Christopher Leeds (Brenda). Grandchildren include Kyle and Andrea Leeds, Torger and Joanie Hauge, Janine (J.L.) and Leeds Haroldson, Janine and Scott Leeds, Tanner and Kamen Leeds and C.J. Verplogen, along with six great-grandchildren Alexander, Lukas, Asher, Signe, Ethan, and Mary.

Memorials include St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or your charity of choice. A private family graveside service will take place within the week.
