Our hearts are deeply saddened with the loss of Jill Christine (Cole, Shrauger) Brandon. Born 9/24/1966 to Mick and Connie (White) Cole in Nampa, she died unexpectedly in Boise, Idaho on 10/24/2019 at the age of 53.

Jill spent her childhood in the Eagle and Boise area. She graduated from Boise High in 1984 and attended Boise State University. On her next adventure she met the love of her life, Kevin Shrauger, while working in West Yellowstone, Montana. They tied the knot in 1987. The love and friendship they shared grew larger with the arrival of their three children: Tereyl Christine, Sydney Thea, and Chet Travis. Jill and Kevin loved working together on their ranch, raising cattle, riding horses and growing wheat.  It was an idyllic life. Jill was always prepared to fix a flat tire, birth a farm animal or mend a broken fence in the harsh Montana weather. She was strong, capable and determined; traits which would prepare her for the next chapter of her life following Kevin's sudden death in 2000.

Jill continued to raise their children in Montana. She later married Tony Brandon in 2005. He passed away in 2017. Jill then moved back to Boise where she found great satisfaction working in the Broadway Albertsons Bakery. She loved her job and coworkers. Jill's kind, sweet and loving demeanor was always sincere. She made many wonderful friends wherever life's journey took her. Jill's friendship, laughter and love were both genuine and faithful. She greeted everyone with a caring hug and beautiful smile.

"Her love will wrap around us like a warm hug when the sun hits our skin. Her sorrows will drop to the ground below through soft rain showers. Her laugh will lift our spirits when a breeze rushes through. Her radiant smile will brighten a room through her children's faces. Heaven is her new home…but she is always in our hearts."

In addition to her beloved children she is survived by her mother, Connie Areitio of Boise; father and stepmother, Mick and Vicki Cole of McCall; grandmother Ruth White of Nampa;  her precious grandson Keevin Shrauger and his mother Emilee Unruh of Havre, MT; sister and brother-in-law Julie Cole and Kelly Atkinson of Boise and their children, Jared, Leighann and Marcus. She is also loved and survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Jill's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Havre Elks Club. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
