Jerry Lee Donoven, 54, passed away at Fresno Lake this past week.

Jerry was born on May 16, 1962, in Havre, to Earl and Jackie (Bullman) Donoven. He was raised on the family farm outside of Kremlin, graduating from Kremlin-Gildford High School in 1980. He briefly studied Ag-Business at MSU-Bozeman. After returning to the Hi-Line, Jerry worked for Mark Aspevig before beginning his 26 year career at John Deere in Havre. Jerry was employed with IGA at the time of his passing.

In 1986, Jerry married Janine Cartwright, and the couple made their home in Havre, raising their two beautiful daughters, Haily and Chelsea. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed golfing, the mountains, football (especially Montana Griz football), time on the lake with family and friends, crop tours with his brother Dean, riding his Harley and traveling. Music and his family were his passions. He was an amazing chef and handyman.

Jerry will be remembered by family and friends as a loving, caring, and hardworking man. He greeted everyone with a smile and had a laugh that was unforgettable. He would ask us to go on dancing and "just be", explore, and create new adventures. He wouldn't want us to stay sitting still.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Earl Neil Donoven; his granddaughter Paisley Jo Donoven; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his former spouse and forever friend, Janine Donoven, of Havre; his daughters Haily and Chelsea Donoven, both of Havre; his grandson Stetson Mummau; his mother Jackie Donoven of Sandy, Utah; his brothers Greg Donoven (David Roque) of Oakland, CA, and Dean Donoven of Havre; his sister Stacey (Rich) Stenseth of Sandy, UT and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, former in-laws, and friends.
