Jerod L. Piapot, 22, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Hospital on Sunday, December 26, 2021.  Wake services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.  Please visit Jerod's online memorial page and leave a message of condolence for his family at www.hollandbonine.com .

Jerod was born on May 24, 1999, in Havre to Darnell Piapot.  He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending Box Elder schools.  A brain aneurysm when he was 15 caused Jerod to quit school, but he spent the next few years relearning to walk and talk.

He was a happy-go-lucky jokester, always laughing and teasing his family and friends.  He loved his "bros", and really had fun meeting new people.  He like to work out and flex, and any outdoor activity had him so excited!  He could eat pizza for every meal, and Jerod was so close to his Grandpa Algie.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Algie and Margaret Piapot and Kenny Piapot; uncle, Jerod Piapot; sister, Rylin Burns; and cousins, Jaron Stump and Jacob Berry.

Jerod is survived by his mother, Darnell Piapot and stepfather, Matthew Converse, both of Havre; siblings, Jacinda (Jacob Burns) Four Colors and Marquise Oats, all of Box Elder, and Jerial Stump, Jalen Piapot, Russell Weaving, Jr., Micah Piapot, and Mayann Weaving, all of Havre; uncle, Duane (Joyce) Piapot of Harlem; niece, Talasia Burns; and numerous aunts, including Holly (Trevor) Oats, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
