Jayde Colin Parker, aged 46, passed away February 28, 2025, at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, MT. Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025, and will continue until his funeral service which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, all at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Warriors Burial Grounds. Holland & Bonine Funeral home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Jayde was born on May 6, 1978, to Raymond and Merceline Parker in Great Falls, MT. His maternal grandparents were Gabe LaMere and Elizabeth Saddler-LaMere and paternal grandparents were John Parker and Elizabeth Nomee-Parker.
Jayde grew up in Azure Site on the Rocky Boy Indian Reservation and lived in his childhood home since. Jayde enjoyed spending time and taking care of his only son. He finally got to experience fatherhood, and he loved being a dad. He worked at Northern Winz Casino first as a cashier then as a manager. In high school Jayde was a very talented and phenomenal basketball player, his freshman year he received the Rookie of the year award. Numerous coaches and fans liked watching him play across the state.
Jayde enjoyed going up to the Bear Paw mountains and hauling firewood for the cold months. He would always find ways to have his son outdoors and play around. During his high school basketball career, he was able to travel to many places to showcase his talent.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Parker Sr.; his mother, Merceline LaMere-Parker; his brothers, Randall and Wayne Parker; his sisters, Diane Swan and Elizabeth Whitford; his nephews, Jaramyn LaMere, Ryan Sayer, Shawn Parker and Justin Cole Whitford; his niece, Michelle Rose Wolf Child-Parker; and granddaughter, Marley Jo Lee Standing Rock.
Jayde is survived by his significant other, Jackie Rock; his only son, Carson; his brothers, Jake Parker (Fawn), Jim Houle (Tammy) and Ted Parker (Nida); and his sisters, Tracey Parker, Marsha Sayer (Mike), Brenda Hollis (Terry), Mary Jane Parker and Jennifer Parker-Windy Boy (Ryan Sr.). Jayde had many nieces and nephews that considered him their favorite uncle.
