Obituary

James E. "Bim" Healy, Jr., 54, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Benefis Medical Center in Great Falls of natural causes. Wake services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014, at the Red Whip Center in Fort Belknap. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, and the funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014, also at the Red Whip Center. Burial will follow at the Perry Ranch Family Cemetery in Lodgepole. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Bim was born on September 23, 1960, in Fort Belknap to James and Bernice (Perry) Healy Sr. He was raised in Fort Belknap until 6th grade, when he moved to Wenatchee, WA, for 2 years. Upon his return, he attended the Kicking Horse Job Corps in Ronan. Following his graduation from Job Corps, Bim returned to Fort Belknap and worked at several different jobs over the years, including as a police officer, firefighter, seismographer, ranch hand, and as a general laborer. As an adult, Bim lived for a time in Salt Lake City, UT, but returned after a few years to Fort Belknap to be near his family. Bim was a comedian who loved to make people laugh. He was very social and talkative, was a great artist, and was extremely intelligent. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren Zayden LongKnife and Tiana Cliff; grandparents, Albert and Vernie Perry, and William "Bud" and Mamie (Contway) Healy; parents, James Healy, Sr. and Bernice Clark; brothers Mike and Larry Cliff; sister Debra Cliff; nephew Eric Jones; aunt Annette (Healy) Fox; and numerous uncles. Bim is survived by his son Albert Healy of Fort Belknap; sisters Vernie Healy of Fort Belknap, Mayme (Norman Bell) Healy of Lodge Pole and Marlene Perry (Tommy Walker), all of Lodge Pole, and Carol Cochran and Jewel Perry, both of Fort Belknap; brothers Kirk (Victoria) Healy of Missoula and Thomas Harmon; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
