Obituary

James W. "Jim" Fenlon, 67, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Benefis Healthcare due to natural causes.  Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.  Jim's family has suggested memorial donations be made to 1305 6 th Street N, Havre.

Jim was born on March 23, 1950, in Missoula to Woodrow and Julia (Edwards) Fenlon.  Following his school years, Jim entered the US Army, and served in the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge.  He was honored to serve our country, and took pride in honoring all other veterans.  He was a very patriotic man.

Other than his time in the Army, Jim worked several different jobs.  The two most interesting jobs for him was automotive mechanic and diesel locomotive machinist, from which he retired in 2007-2008.

Jim was an avid car enthusiast.  He really enjoyed the collectible and project cars.  He also enjoyed going to car shows.  Jim enjoyed watching the drag races live and on tv.  Riding his motorcycle provided him such joy.

Jim was a very caring, sincere, and helpful person.  When someone needed help, he was always there no matter what he was needed for.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Julia; his brother-in-law Orville; and his siblings Jesse James, Bonnie, and Ardella.

He is survived by his wife, Patti; his children, Cindy, David, Ronald, Nevada, Derek, Jesse James "JJ", and Amy; his sisters, Anita (Jack), Lucille, and Diana; his brothers, Tom and Joe; his brother-in-law, Lonnie; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
