Jackee Rae Morse, 63, passed away due to natural causes at her residence on Sunday, February 19, 2023.  A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at First Lutheran Church.  Her funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at First Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Cottonwood Cemetery.  Jackee's family has suggested memorial donations be made in her memory to First Lutheran Church or the Friends of Beaver Creek Park.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Jackee was born on August 2, 1959, in Spokane, Washington, to Leo and Jackee (Rick) Hall.  She was raised in Spokane, and in 1983 she moved to Havre, where she met Lee Morse.  The couple married in 1984, and raised their five children north of Havre on the Morse family farm (funny farm).

Jackee enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, camping, and fishing (if they were not biting, she would be there until they would) flower and vegetable gardening, and was well known most recently for making apple pie moonshine and special cake and brownies.  She was a very competitive woman who liked dancing, playing pinochle, cribbage, pool, cornhole, and most recently scratch tickets and eating ice cream.  Watching Westerns, action movies, Christmas stories, and game shows was another favorite pastime, and playing computer games and shopping on Ebay was a regular occurrence. She was Lee's "slave" on the farm for many years starting with the day after their first date, running the loader tractor. The grandboys grew up calling her "Tractor Grandma". By their retirement from farming, she had run every piece or equipment with exception of the sprayer which she got in the seat and looked at the panels, bounced out, and said nope. She worked the cattle right in with the guys and did not want the easy job. She took night shift at calving, and even set up a plan to fight off a mountain lion to protect the calves.  Thank the Lord he left before she got back. She always cooked meals or cinnamon rolls for the end of the kids school games or meets, and was always in the stands rooting on the kids… sometimes the teammates would have to shout back "we're defense, not offense Aunt Jackee". The majority of the team considered her aunt Jackee. She was always there for children and the outsider or underdog. She was involved with Jaycees, youth group, Alateen, and was a child magnet.

She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Isaiah and Bear White; parents, Leo Hall and Jackee Gallagher; and siblings, Tim Hall, Tom Hall, Terry Shaw, Vicky Hall, Karen Kendall, Judy Hall, Gary Hall, Margie Hall, and Donna Celej.

Jackee is survived by her husband, Lee Morse of Havre; children, Ginnee (Craig) McNeel and Robert (Misti) White, both of Spokane, WA, Adam Morse of Thiellis, NY, and Lucas and Brandon Shaw, both of Havre; four grandchildren, Bailee McNeel, and Jaden, Xander, and Robert White IV; sister, Sue (Mel) Felton of Spokane, WA; uncle, Charlie (Erleen) Rick of Corvallis, WA; aunts, Barbara Rick and Kay Johnson, both of Washougal, WA; adopted mother Ethel Schuschke; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
