Obituary

Jack Kenneth Case, 79, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes. At his request cremation has taken place and services are planned for a later time. Memorials in Jack's honor may be made to a memorial of one's choice. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Jack was born December 14, 1932 in Crestline, Ohio to William and Marjorie (Rhine) Case. He was raised and educated in Mansfield. He enlisted into the United States Air Force and served in Korea he was honorably discharged in November of 1955 in Canton, Ohio. He married Paulette Erickson in 1963 in Havre. The couple has been together for 49 years. Jack became disabled in 1977 due to brain aneurysms. The family moved to Havre in 1980 and had one daughter Crystal. Jack was limited to hobbies due to his disability but the one thing he really loved to do was to fish especially with his daughter, Crystal. He also enjoyed playing scrabble with his wife Paulette. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Dorothy "Dottie" Case and sister-in-law Sally K. Ramberg. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Paulette Case of Havre, Montana. His daughter Crystal C. Case of Havre, Montana. His son Alan Kenneth Horst of Great Falls, Montana. Two grandsons Evan J. Case of San Antonio, Texas stationed at Lackland Airforce Base and Mason M. Case of Havre, Montana. One brother William Hunter Case of Bellville, Ohio.
