Hartford Denny ("Rock That Walks With Him" "Home Boy"), 65, passed away at the Northern Montana Hospital on Monday, January 14, 2013. Wake services will begin Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church. His funeral service will be Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy, MT with NAC members officiating. Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Hartford was born on June 26, 1947 in Rocky Boy, MT to Bill and Hattie Denny. He attended school at Rocky Boy. Hartford attended sundances, sweats, liked going to rodeos and Native American church. He liked watching the Rocky Boy Stars basketball games. He was always willing to help out family. He was a loving father and grandfather. Hartford was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Hattie Denny; brothers, James "Tuffy" Denny, Earl Denny, Daniel Denny, and William Denny Jr.; sister Helen Louise Denny Capps; and grandson Lageno O'Riley Rilis Denny. He is survived by his son Rico Denny of Rocky Boy, MT; daughter Rita (Chase Strike Sr.) Denny of Billings, MT; brothers, Grant Denny of Pocatello, ID, Willy Denny of Rocky Boy, MT and Ken Writing Bird of Rocky Boy, MT; sisters, Hope D. Rojas and Caroline Denny of Fort Hall, ID, Winona Denny of Anchorage, AK, Ruby Stump and Nadine Morsette of Rocky Boy, MT; grandchildren, Garet O Denny of Tuscan AZ, D Anna Denny of Rocky Boy, MT, Kaiden I Denny of MI, Maria M Cantwell of Billings, MT and Chase and Mia Strike of Billings, MT.
