Gerald William "Jerry" Horn, 54, of Fort Belknap, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, due to cancer. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the Red Whip Center in Fort Belknap, and a wake will be held following the Rosary until funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012, at the Red Whip Center in Fort Belknap. Burial will follow in the Highway Cemetery in Fort Belknap. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements. Jerry was born on November 10, 1958, in Fort Belknap to Milton "Somers" Horn Sr. and Frances Mae (Kirkaldie) Horn. He was raised in Fort Belknap, attending school in Harlem. Following high school, he met Glenda Messerly, and they spent the following 26 years together. Jerry worked as a ranch hand all of his working years, and he enjoyed roping, hunting, fishing, and reading. Jerry was preceded in death by his father Milton "Somers" Horn Sr., and his brothers Milton "Little Somers" Horn Jr. and Dick Horn. He is survived by his wife Glenda Messerly of Fort Belknap; his daughter Ashley (Spike) Brisbo of Havre; his step-daughters Terry Ann Messerly (Cecil Jackson) and Rachel (Mike) Cochran, all of Fort Belknap; his step-sons Theodore (Randi) Bell Jr. and Richard Messerly, all of Fort Belknap; his two grandchildren Kaine and Cody Birdtail, both of Havre; his mother Frances Horn of Fort Belknap; his sisters Carol (Randy) Hansen of Garden City, Kansas, and Linda (Mark) Trujillo of Grand Junction, Colorado; his brothers Daniel J. (Lena) Horn of Fort Belknap, John (Donna) Horn of Fargo, North Dakota, Stanley "P-Nut" (Joan) Johnson of Fort Belknap
