Obituary

Georgia L. WhiteCow, 49, of Harlem, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013, at Benefis Medical Center in Great Falls of natural causes. A Rosary will be held at the Alfred and Bernadette Lodge residence in Harlem at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Wake services will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Red Whip Center in Fort Belknap on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013, at the Red Whip Center in Fort Belknap. Burial will follow at the Pony Hill Cemetery. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements. Georgia was born on October 4, 1963, in Fort Belknap to Alfred and Bernadette (WhiteCow) Lodge. She was raised in Harlem, attending school there. Following high school, she married Thomas "Tuby" Walker, and their union was blessed with five children. She spent the following years as a homemaker, caring for her husband and their children until Tuby passed away in 2012. She enjoyed listening to Gospel and Country music, and spending time with her children, family and friends. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Thomas "Tuby" Walker, and her brothers Alfred J. "Popeye" Lodge, Clifford W. "Cliff" Lodge, and Benjamin G. "Ben" Lodge. She is survived by her daughter Shelby Walker of Fort Belknap; her sons Thomas Walker, Jr., Jeremy (Zenetta) Walker, Dallas Walker, and Keith Walker, all of Fort Belknap; her grandchildren Cordell and Brenden Walker of Harlem; her brothers Leon (Deanna) Lodge of Havre, Robert (Wishbone) Lodge of Harlem, John Henry Lodge of Harlem, and Robert "Waldo" (Dawn) Bear Cub of Harlem; her sisters Carolyn Lodge of Fort Belknap, Amanda Jean Lodge of Harlem, Theresa (Matt) Bear Cub of Fort Belknap, and Venus (Speedy) Crantz of Harlem; her aunts Helen Talks Different, Roberta Werk, Mary WhiteCow, and Catherine LongKnife, all of Fort Belknap; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her special nieces Sydney, Casey and Lonette, all of Harlem.
