Gayle Wallace Tuck, 84, of Ephrata, WA, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014, in Highland Cemetery in Havre, with a reception following the graveside service at the 15 West Sports Bar & Grill. Gayle was born on February 5, 1929, to Edward Davis and Ivy May Tuck of Chinook, MT. Gayle finished his schooling when he was 18 years old, and entered the US Air Force, serving from 1947 through 1968 as a Staff Sergeant working with nuclear weapons. He then worked for the Civil Service until his retirement in 1985. He married his loving wife, Ruth Ernestine Tuck on March 23, 1966. Gayle received the Occupational Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Air Force Longevity Service Award during his time of service. He was a member of the American Legion and the Senior Citizens' League. Gayle enjoyed fishing, traveling, and woodworking. He is survived by his daughter Laura Lee Bennett of Ephrata, WA; his stepchildren, Richard and Stephen Granell, and Patricia Greytak, all of Havre, MT, and Sheryl Leight of Summors, MT; and his grandchildren, Aaron Tuck of Cody, WY, Kasey O'Dell of Cashmere, WA, and Patrick and Steffon Bennett of Ephrata, WA.
