Gary
Nanini
June 28, 1958 – September 9, 2025
Gary Nanini of Great Falls, 67, left this world on September 9, 2025.
Cremation has taken place.
He was born on June 28, 1958, in Cut Bank, Montana, to Julius (Sam) and Julia Belle (McCulley) Nanini.
Gary spent his early years in Cut Bank before moving with his family to Havre, where he attended school and later earned his GED. He found his calling in the oil patch and worked for many years in the oil fields as a roughneck and driller. When his health no longer allowed him to do that work, he moved to Great Falls and was employed with Service Master, Walmart, and Dollar Tree until his health again made it difficult to continue.
Gary loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. Fishing was his greatest passion-he could sit on the bank all day, whether or not the fish were biting, and still be content.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; his brother, Randal, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gary is survived by his stepmother, Harriet Nanini; his sisters, Marsha (Randi) Dibblee and Tammy (Bill) Frederick; his nephew, Jesse (Heather) Dibblee; his niece, Mindy (Brandon) Hawk; his great-nieces and nephews, Makenzie (Dylan Kimberling) Dibblee, Brenden Dibblee, Logan and Riley Hawk; his aunt, Bonnie (Lee) Manicke; his special friend, Kim Stevens; and numerous cousins.
A funeral service will be held on October 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 3003 Old Post Road, Havre, Montana.
