She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending the Parker School, Day School, and Rocky Boy Junior High, before attending Havre High School. Following her school years, she attended Dull Knife College for a year before marrying her beloved husband Francis Eagleman, Sr., on October 30, 1970, at Rocky Boy Lutheran Church. The couple's union was blessed with seven children, and they remained in Rocky Boy, raising the children there. Evelyn was an active woman, working with children for most of her career. She worked as a bilingual teacher's assistant in the Rocky Boy Schools, as a certified Child Development Center counselor, a Resident Service Counselor, and in child care as a cook and a provider. Evelyn enjoyed working with her hands, and her hobbies included arts and crafts, and beading. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Queen Indian and George Anderson; her infant son; her grandson Arron Olson; and her brothers Keith Anderson, Ervin Anderson, and Ronald Anderson. She is survived by her beloved husband Francis Eagleman, Sr. of Rocky Boy; her daughters Francine (William) The Boy and Theola (Brandon) Lamere, all of Rocky Boy; her sons Christian Eagleman, Francis "Ira" Eagleman, Jr., Tyson (Hilary) Eagleman, all of Rocky Boy, and Tyler (Marissa) Eagleman of Havre; her eighteen grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; her sisters Valerie (Bruce) Sunchild, Vernice Anderson, Barbara (Jeff) Eagleman, Tanya (William) Ahenakew, and Karen Anderson, all of Rocky Boy; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
