Ervin Anderson "The Big E", 60, died Saturday February 18, 2012 in Rocky Boy of natural causes. His wake service will begin Sunday afternoon at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church with his funeral service 11 a.m. Monday February 20, 2012 also at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church with Roy Small and Pastor Linda officiating. Burial will follow at the Rocky Boy Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Ervin was born January 3, 1952 in Fort Belknap, Montana to George and Queen Indian Anderson. He was raised and educated in Rocky boy. He married Alice Francis and the couple lived in Rocky boy and raised their family. They moved to Arizona for a short time and then returned home. Ervin was employed with the Chippewa Cree Housing Authority. HE enjoyed reading Westerns, and loved to spend time with his grandson Alejandro "Hondro" who he jokingly called "Grandpa" He was preceded in death by his parents one brother Keith Anderson Ervin is survived by his wife Alice Francis of Gallup, Arizona. His daughter Elizabeth "Bear" Anderson of Rocky Boy. His brother Ronald Anderson of Rocky Boy and sisters: Evelyn (Francis) Eagleman; Valerie (Bruce) Sunchild; Vernice Anderson, Barbara (Harlan)Anderson; Tanya (William Sr.) Anderson and Karen Anderson all of Rocky Boy, Montana. One Grandson Alejandro. Numerous nieces and nephews.
