Obituary

Our beloved mother, daughter, grandma, and aunt, Elizabeth "Liz" "Eagle Woman" Parker-Whitford, went to be with the creator on November 10, 2021, due to natural causes in her home. Wake services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021, and will continue until her funeral , which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Liz was born on November 11, 1965, in Havre, MT, to the late Raymond Parker, Sr., and Merceline LaMere-Parker. Her maternal grandparents were Gabe LaMere and Elizabeth Saddler-LaMere, and paternal grandparents were John Parker and Elizabeth Nomee-Parker.

Liz grew up in Parker Canyon and made her home in Azure Site, MT. She attended school in Box Elder and Rocky Boy, earning her diploma from Rocky Boy High School. Later, she attended Stone Child College, where she obtained numerous certificates and degrees. Liz was a trained EMT for many years along with a CHR for the Rocky Boy Health Center. She also worked at 4'C's casino as a cashier. She later became a homemaker and raised her three boys.

Liz was an avid bell collector with a curio cabinet filled with them. She really enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and husband. She was always teasing and looking to make the best of every situation. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She really liked to do her match play and free play at Northern Winz Casino. She has many humorous stories with family members while traveling throughout the country.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Parker, Sr.; her son, Justin Cole Whitford; brother, Wayne Parker; grandparents, Gabe and Elizabeth LaMere and John and Elizabeth Parker; niece, Michelle Parker-WindyBoy; and nephew, Ryan Sayer.

Liz is survived by her husband, Arthur Lee Whitford, Sr.; mother, Merceline LaMere-Parker; children, Arthur (Loverne) Whitford, Jr., and Austin (Robin) Whitford; sisters, Tracey Parker, Diane Swan, Marsha (Mike) Sayer, Brenda (Terry) Hollis, Mary Jane Parker, and Jennifer Parker; brothers, Raymond "Jake" Parker, James Houle, Randall (Linda) Parker, Theodore "Ted" (Nida) Parker, and Jayde Parker; her grandchildren who she loved very much, Tavory Whitford, Creedence Adams, Jacob "Moe Moe" Whitford, Xiomora Whitford, Chase Whitford, Arthur Tre Whitford, Acecia Leeannette Whitford, Thomas Joseph Gardipee, Neveah Whitford, and Katlyn Whitford; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
