Elijah Blu Eagleman, 34, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in Los Angeles, CA.  Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Eagleman Family Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Elijah was born on November 9, 1987, in Havre to James "Louie" and Rema (Lightfoot) Eagleman, Jr.  He was raised in Havre, attending school there until 2005, when he received his GED.  Elijah worked for forestry and natural resources for the Chippewa Cree Tribe for a while, and then moved to Seattle, where he worked for Boeing.  His last relocation was to Los Angeles, CA, where he worked several different jobs as he learned to enjoy city life.

Elijah was an upbeat, social man who enjoyed writing, spending time with nieces and nephews, and joking around with friends and family.  He also enjoyed playing poker, and so did the people he played with … he was not good at it!

He was preceded in death by his father, James "Louie" Eagleman, Jr.; paternal grandparents, James and Cecile (Merasty) Eagleman, Sr.; and maternal great-grandparents, Old Man and Emma (Lightfoot) Chiefstick.

Elijah is survived by his mother, Rema Eagleman; brother, James "Everette" Eagleman III; sisters, Priscilla Lopez of Yakima, WA, and Amanda (Carlos) Moreno of Havre; the love of his life, Jackie Holguin of Los Angeles, CA; grandmothers, Sara Lightfoot and Lydia Chiefstick; three grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends in Montana, Washington, California, and Canada.
