Elias Frank Bacon, Blue Water Birdman, 34, passed away in Box Elder, Montana, on Monday, August 16, 2021, due to a gunshot wound. Wake services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021, all at the Briana Molina Residence, located at 413 Elkhorn Street. Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Elias was the youngest of a set of twins born on June 28, 1987, in Havre to Larry Bernard, Sr. and Janet Bacon. He was raised in Rocky Boy, and graduated from Anaconda High School. He continued his education with barber and tattoo training in Billings, and he held licenses for both.
He was a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe, and was a family man and a protector. He enjoyed life, joking around with family and friends at every opportunity. His creativity was expressed in his barber work, tattoos, and drawings. Building things was an enjoyable pastime for Elias, as were his weed art and Mortal Kombat. He also loved spending time driving around in his blue Chevy with friends and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice Daychild YellowWolf, Albert Bacon, and Thomas and Rose Bernard; brother, Thomas Bernard; uncles, Manuel Bacon and Frank Bacon; aunt, Gayle Burbank; and cousin, Dolan Sunchild.
Elias is survived by his children, Amias, Surani, and Wisdom, and Jamie Koop; significant other, Briana Molina; bonus children, Corey, Caezar, Cylis, and Emaza Molina; parents, Janet (Bacon) Sutherland and Larry Bernard, Sr.; brothers, Loren (Kellie) Bacon, Joseph Bernard, Larry "Albert" Bernard, Jr., Robert "Big Cheeks" Big Bow, and twin brother, Elliot Bacon; sisters, Billie Jo Favel and Carol Ann Bernard; aunts, Margaret Bernard, Brenda Bernard, Christine Blatt, Kimberly (Victor) Patacsil, April Fox, Emily Conner, and Violet Sunchild; uncles, Darrell (Carita) Sunchild, Dallas (Pam) Sunchild, Darin (Marva) Sunchild, Henry (Elvira) Daychild, Sr., and Allen Bacon; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
