Edward J. Schepp, 79, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2023. Ed was born April 10, 1944, to Anna and Ed Schepp in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Ed and his family relocated to Havre, MT in 1951.
Ed graduated from Kremlin High School. Proceeding high school, he joined the National Guard. In 1965, he moved back to Montana where he had two children with his wife, Marie Orr, Tammy Jo and Charlie/Edward John Jr. They later divorced and Ed moved back to Havre, MT where he welcomed another son, Scott with Mary Belcourt and later divorced. In 1987, Joyce and Ed were married and have spent the last 36 years together.
Ed is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Tammy Jo, Charlie/Edward (Anna), Scott, Shawn, Dallas (Autumn), Michelle (Bill), and Randy (Trinity); brothers Louie and Raymond; and sister Helen. Ed is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Ed was an accomplished mechanic and possessed a passion for old cars. You could always find him busy tinkering in the shop or at a swap meet around the state. We will always remember his warmth, generous spirit, patience, and contagious smile.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, in Highland Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the service at Holiday Village Mall Banquet Hall. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.
