Dustin Sun Child was born on September 3, 1985, to Darrell Sun Child Sr. and
Winona LaMere. Dustin was the second of six children. He attended school at
Rocky Boy High School until his Junior year and finished his Senior year at Box
Elder High School. Dustin married his best friend and high school sweetheart.
Together they had one smart, handsome son and three amazing, beautiful
daughters. His children were his world. Dustin went straight to work at Chippewa
Cree Water Resources after high school as well. He worked there for fifteen (15)
years until his health forced him to leave. Once he was better, he returned to
work at Stone Child College until his health started to deteriorate again. During
his employment, Dustin was a very hard worker and very dedicated. He loved to
cook for his friends and family. He had a great sense of humor. He loved to tease
and was the life of the party. Dustin had a very big heart. He helped anyone in
need without any hesitation and never expected anything in return. He will be
greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
