Dustin Wade Bacon, 34, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.  Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. and a Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023, also at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the Box Elder Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Dustin was born on August 21, 1988, in Havre to Gustin and Rose (Parisian) Bacon.  He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school in Box Elder.  While in school, he was an all-around athlete, playing basketball and football, and running track. Dustin graduated from Box Elder High School in 2006.  Over the next several years, he worked in construction on a water line and as a carpenter at various jobs.  He had recently returned to school, attending the University of Phoenix online, majoring in cyber security.

Dustin was an outgoing young man who loved joking around with and playing practical jokes on his brothers.  He was close to them, and when they weren't playing around, you could find them watching movies together.  He was a loving and helpful young man with the rest of his family, and drawing was one of his favorite pastimes.  Throughout his life, Dustin loved sports, and his favorite teams were the LA Lakers and the Philadelphia Eagles.  He was a consummate learner, watching the Discovery and History channels often.  His sons were his life, and he loved to spend as much time with them as he could.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Freddy Bacon; nephew, Hunter Hawley; and grandparents, Edward and Sarah Parisian, Freddy Bacon, Joe Raining Bird, and Franny Rosette.

Dustin is survived by his sons, Ja'acenn Coffee and Dustin Bacon, Jr.; parents, Gustin and Rose Bacon of Rocky Boy; brothers, Austin Bacon, Nigel (Jennifer) Bacon, and Shane (Star) Bacon, all of Rocky Boy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
