Donita Dawn Bell, Queen of Thunderbird Woman, 30, passed away in Box Elder on Saturday, December 26, 2020.  Wake services will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020, and will continue until her funeral service, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Donita was born on December 11, 1990, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Paul and Janette (Russette) Chase.  She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school in Box Elder.  After high school, Donita attended Stone Child College for a couple of years, majoring in early childhood education.  She worked for most of her adult life at Rocky Boy Early Headstart, moving to the Rocky Boy Correction Center as a corrections officer in 2018.

Donita was an outgoing, loving woman who adored her nieces and nephews, spoiling them at every opportunity.  She enjoyed playing street basketball with her friends, and just hanging out with friends and family.  Donita loved all kinds of music, and was always listening.  She was fun-loving and happy-go-lucky, and impacted many lives for the better.

Donita is survived by her loving parents, Paul and Janet Chase, Sr. of Havre; daughter, Ky'zarie Izabella; significant other, Jamekka Beaumont; nieces, Tyrain, Ilyana, Millie, and Il'zayla; nephew, Rowan Zaide Bell #1 Boss; sisters, Autumn, Jurnee, and Kierra Chase, all of Box Elder; brothers, Harlen (Stormy) Bell, Colen (Aaryn) Shane, and Paul Chase, Jr., all of Box Elder; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester Russette and Kathleen Stump, and Theodore and Jeannette Bell; aunts, Sonya Sunchild, Sylvia Russette, and Francine Bell; uncle, Doyle Bell; sister, Jamie Bell; and biological father, James Gordon Bell.
