Donald R. Koesler, 60, of Havre, passed away at Northern Montana Hospital on June 1, 2012, of pneumonia. Donald was born on February 21, 1952, to Norbert and Clara (Westerman) Koesler in Great Falls, Montana. He attended the Boulder River School in Boulder, Montana, from 1961 to 1974, when he moved to Havre to live at the Havre Day Activity Center. There he worked in the woodshop until his retirement, and enjoyed drawing and watching wrestling. Donald was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters Barbara (Richard) Carr of Madison, Wisconsin, and Denise (William) Hance of Reno, Nevada; and his brother Richard (Terre) Koesler of Blackhawk, South Dakota. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held for Donald at the Havre Day Activity Center Woodshop at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
