Derek Earl Roe, age 57 of Havre passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be announced at a later date. Memorials in Derek's name may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-line or the charity of the donor's choice. Holland and Bonine Funeral Home been entrusted with services and arrangements. Derek was born on June 11 ,1961 in Glendive to Darwyn and Edna Mae (Zimmerman) Roe. He was raised in Havre and attended school there, graduating from Havre High School in 1981.

Derek worked for several years at McLean's Grocery as a clerk. He enjoyed watching television especially game shows and during the football season he cheered on the Raiders. Derek found solitude in time spent at the family cabin in the Bear Paws.

Derek was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Darwyn; and grandparents, Earl and Vera Roe and Earl and Grace Zimmerman.

He is survived by his siblings, Diane (Tim) Shidu of Auburn ,WA, Deb (Daryl) Schultz of Havre and Dana (Cindy) Roe of Havre; seven nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
