Dennis E. Helmbrecht, 64, died peacefully March 24, 2011 at the Care and Comfort Home in Havre. His Vigil will be held on Sunday, March 27th at 7pm at the Holland and Bonine Funeral home with a funeral Mass at 11am on Monday , March 28th at St. Jude Catholic church in Havre. Due to the Lenten season Memorials in Dennis's honor may be made to St. Jude School 634 6th Street in Havre. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Dennis was born June 14th, 1946 in Havre, Montana. He attended St. Jude elementary school and graduated from Havre Central High School in 1965. Dennis attended college at the University of Montana and graduated from Northern Montana College in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. He taught high school science at Gildford for two years and then was hired by the Great Northern Railroad and worked as a chemist in their labs in Havre, St. Paul, Minnesota and Springfield, Missouri. Dennis came back to Havre to assist in the care of his ailing father and worked for the Burlington Northern railway until his disablement in 2005. Denny loved golf, his family, his faith and was a loyal friend. He was preceded in death by his by his father Vern Helmbrecht, and a brother Joseph Helmbrecht. He is survived by his Mother, Toby Helmbrecht, a Sister Kathy (Gary) Enneberg and a brother Steve Helmbrecht and nieces and nephews, Mark, Jason and Melissa Enneberg and Keegan, Jade and Anders Helmbrecht.
