Denise K. WindyBoy, 66, passed away due to natural causes at the Northern Montana Care Center on Sunday, June 15, 2025.  A viewing will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, all at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Denise was born on May 16, 1959, in Butte to Clovis and Freda (Turner) LeCompte.  She was raised in Butte and Rocky Boy, attending high school at Flandreau.  Following her high school years, she returned home and made her home in Havre, working at Havre Laundry for over 30 years.  There she married Everett Windy Boy, and the couple had five children before divorcing.  She later had a long-term relationship with Floyd "Skidzy" St. Marks.

Denise enjoyed spending time on Facebook, sunning herself, driving to Fresno to relax, and shopping at yard sales.  She was an avid watcher of weather reports. She loved her children and absolutely adored her grandchildren.  She and Skidzy traveled to Mexico, Sturgis, the West Coast, Las Vegas, and Reno.  Denise was a wonderful cook, and her favorite meal was breakfast.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clovis LeCompte and Freda Louis; her son, Anthony Windy Boy, Sr.; and her former husband, Everett Windy Boy.

Denise is survived by her children, Tanna (JD Peters) Windy Boy of Wyota, Jaime Windy Boy of Great Falls, and Anthony (Ashley) and Everett (Rose) Windy Boy, all of Havre; twelve grandchildren; very good friend, Floyd "Skidzy" St. Marks of Havre; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
