DeMarise was born on May 23, 1984, in Havre to William "Sonny Boy" and Lois (Potter) St. Mark. She was raised in Great Falls, Billings, Spokane, Seattle, and Rocky Boy. Following her school years, while in Spokane, DeMarise had a son and worked various jobs. She liked camping and going to Brown's beach with her kids and family, and family dinners were very important to her. DeMarise was very outgoing and loved to joke around, but she was also very protective of her family and friends, and she adored her dogs and her new nephew Caesar "Silverwhip" .
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alice Randa, Harvey "Jim" Potter, Sr., Alice Gardipee, and Peter J. St. Mark; uncles, Allen C. Potter, Whip St. Mark and John Darrel Little Soldier; aunts, Cindy Randa, and Dorothy, Dixie, and Allison St. Mark; cousins, Jennifer St. Marks and Blue Chiefstick; and nephew, Javier Potter.
