Lori was born on May 13, 1964, in Havre to Wilford "Leo" and Glenda "Bing" (Salois) Duran. She was raised in Box Elder, Havre, and Great Falls, attending Box Elder schools. In 1972, Lori married George "Puxsue" Parisian, and the couple raised three children together. During this time, Lori was a military wife, and she attended Stone Child College and Northern Montana College for a couple of years. She worked as an administrative assistant at Box Elder Schools. They divorced in 1998 and continued to reside in Box Elder, where she bartended at the local taverns until she found her calling at the Chippewa Cree Construction Corporation where she touched many lives with her huge smile and infectious laugh. She enjoyed and was dedicated to her work as a human resources manager.
Lori enjoyed watching movies, tv series especially NCIS, and soap operas. Some evenings would find her relaxing next to the wood stove with a good book; other evenings would catch her on a gambling machine, spanking someone at pool, or just chatting and laughing around with her many friends and family. Come football season, you would find her cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Her laugh was contagious and will be missed dearly. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Tyra Parker; mother Bing Salois; and her sisters Kim and Carol Duran.
Lori is survived by her children, Georgie Russell, Leslee Parisian, and Christopher Parisian; grandchildren, Rebecca Rosette, and Jacoby and Bentley Parker; father Wilford Leo Duran; siblings, Leo "Boy" (Christine) Duran, Shelly (Orville) Lamere, Dustin Duran, and Cynthia Duran; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
