On Saturday, July 16, 2022, Darrell D. Newbury, loving husband, father, and grandfather of five children, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, passed away at the age of 71. Darrell was born on August 7, 1950, in Great Falls, MT, to Ellen and Arthur Newbury. He retired from BNSF railroad after 38 years of employment.

Darrell married Deborah Starkey in December of 1967 in Great Falls MT and they had three children together. William, Dale, and Tava.  Later in life, he married Sandra K. Newbury in Beaver Creek Park, and together they raised Sandra's two children, Stephen and Nancy. They also raised three of their grandchildren, Daryan, Tyres, and Joshua.

Darrell loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and working in his flowerbeds. He loved spending his time outdoors surrounded by his family. He was known for his kind heart, quick wit, joking around with others, and his infectious laugh.

He is survived by four children, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two siblings. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra, daughter Tava, and granddaughter Sabrina Fay.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rick Hodshire officiating.
