Daniel was born on May 9, 1976, in Havre, to Allan Eagleman and Debra Stump, and was raised by his late grandfather William "Bill" Stump and stepfather Joseph "Joe" Arkinson, Jr. He was raised in Rocky Boy, where he graduated from Rocky Boy High School in 1995, and attended Stone Child College for a few years. In 2008, Daniel moved to Great Falls with Diane Spotted Wolf, his long-time girlfriend, to make a new life. The couple remained there until his passing. Every year since high school, he would return home during PowWow to assist Rocky Boy Police with security.
Daniel was the sweetest, kindest, most loving and caring person anyone could meet. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. He also could be shy, but always cared for others, giving out hugs and handshakes. He enjoyed watching wrestling and the LMN channel, taking long walks, and attending as many Pow Wows and round dances as he could, as well as jamming to the music.
He was preceded in death by his parents Allan Eagleman and Debra Stump, and uncle Monte Stump.
Daniel is survived by his siblings, Amber Stump-Williams, Joshua Arkinson, Gabriel Arkinson, Sr., Joseph Stump, Clarissa Eagleman, Andrea Eagleman, Kurt Eagleman, and Joseph Eagleman; his long-time girlfriend Diane Spotted Wolf; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
He really loved being with his family, girlfriend, and his dogs. His ray of sunshine will be missed!
