Dana Patrick Ontiveros "Chief's Son", 57, passed away on November 16, 2025. He was born on March 27, 1968, to Thomas Ontiveros and Linda Belcourt in Great Falls, MT. A wake will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 1pm at Rocky Boy Lutheran Church and a funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 10am at Rocky Boy Lutheran Church. Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Dana attended elementary school and junior high school in Billings and graduated from Rocky Boy High School in 1986. He also took college courses through Stone Child College. Dana had two children a daughter Kamryn Kristine in 1998 and a son Julian in 2004.

He worked many jobs was a jack of all trades. Dana enjoyed cooking and making Native crafts. He was very active in the community, attending all the events and involved with the Rocky Boy PowWow. Dana had an infectious smile and a big heart, he was always there to help anyone with anything they needed.

Dana is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas Ontiveros and Linda Belcourt, Life Partner;  Roberta Bacon, Brothers; Bobby Diaz and Mario Diaz.

He is survived by his children; Kamryn Silva and Julian Ontiveros, Brothers; Dion (Shelly) Ontiveros, Rick (Tina) Ontiveros, Wilbur Nagel, Sisters; Oriana Ontiveros, Melody (Jeff) LaRue, Nisha (Shawn) Diaz, numerous nieces and nephews.
