Crystal Laverne Denny, 51, passed away at her residence on January 27, 2023.  Wake services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.   Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Crystal was born on October 3, 1971, in Havre to John Darrell Little Soldier and Linda Denny.  Having lost her parents at an early age, she was raised in Rocky Boy by Pete and Bessie Denny, her grandparents.  Crystal attended school in Rocky Boy and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1990, and attended Stone Child College, majoring in secretarial science.  At the age of 27, she had her only child, a daughter; and for most of her working life, she worked as an intake specialist for housing.

Crystal was an outgoing, social woman who enjoyed playing basketball in high school and college, and spending time with her friends and family as an adult.  She loved to play the machines and listen to her 80's rock.  Crystal was an incredibly helpful woman, who saw a need and went above and beyond to fill it.  She had a beautiful smile and was very outspoken.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Darrell Little Soldier and Linda Denny; adopted parents, Pete and Bessie Denny; and brother, Michael Wolf.

Crystal is survived by her daughter, Charnez Denny of Rocky Boy; brother, Philip Sutherland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
