Cole Forrest
Stump
September 29, 1991 – October 12, 2020
Cole Forrest "Cole-Man" Stump, 29, passed away due to injuries sustained in a shooting in Billings on October 12, 2020. Wake services will begin on Thursday, October 15, 2020, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020, all at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Cole was born September 29, 1991 in Havre, MT. Coleman was blessed with two sets of parents, Harold & Vina Stump and Larry & Kathy Jones.
Coleman had a love for horses, children, dogs, and bull riding. His passion for roping and riding was something he did since he was in diapers. Any chance he could get to ride a horse, he would take it in a heartbeat! It didn't matter if he was by himself, or with friends, family or his children. He would just want to ride. His uncle Richard Duran had a hand in his horsemanship.
Coleman never met a stranger. Everyone was always a friend and friends were always family. He could joke with the best of them. Teasing and laughing were some of his best qualities that he shared with everyone. His smile was something that everyone loved and will always remember.
Coleman grew up on Rocky Boy Reservation, but also spent much of his time in Big Sandy, Ft. Peck, Great Falls and Virginia. He was a great ranch hand and enjoyed breaking horses, but he was also a jack of all trades.
Coleman is survived by his moms, Vina Stump and Kathy Jones; his siblings, Kristie Rae Standing, Eugene Walter Stump, Tasheena Lea Mary Elizabeth Duran, Tonya Marie Stump, Jaydence Jazlynn Dayanna Molina, Rama Vae Wirtzberger, Alexa Lea Jones, and Wendy Michelle Jones; his children Tai'cen Morsette, Tyann Stump, Colt Stump, Azlyin Stump, and Cole Stump Jr.; and numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
