Claudia Ann Bear, 63, of Fort Belknap, passed on peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2014. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Fort Belknap. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 with Father Retzel officiating. "Claud", as she was known to be called, was born in Fort Belknap to Wallace Henry and Viola Marie Bear on October 7, 1951. She lived in Fort Belknap all her life and enjoyed her favorite hobbies. She loved to bead, sew, watch movies and of course, play Bingo. She was also involved in the lay ministry out of Great Falls, MT, which she liked to go away to for a weekend to attend. Claudia is survived by her two children; daughter Dayna Jean Bear of Billings, MT and her son Deleano Jude King of Fort Belknap; her grandchildren, Trey, TaNiesha, and Tayonnah Birdtail-Bear of Olympia, WA, Dezmond Snell, and Siya and Everett "Ev-j" King all of Fort Belknap; her sisters, Ethel and Mamee Bear of Fort Belknap, and Wallene Bear of Dublin, CA; her brothers, Leon "Duke" King of Hays and Clayton Carrywater of Fort Belknap; and her special friends, Carol Cochran, Linda Azure, Linda Beaudry, and Phil Levaldo. She is preceded in death by her grandson, "AJ" Allen John Long Soldier Jr.; her sisters Rosella Birdtail, Georgina Weasel, Aimee Jo Bear and Alberta Bear; her brothers, Elwood "Brother" Bear, Joseph J. Bear, John J. Bear, Robert "Bobby" Bear and Wallace "Buzzy" Bear.
