Obituary

Clarissa Lynn Eagleman, 45, passed away due to natural causes at her Billings residence on Thursday, April 15, 2021.  Wake services will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021,  and her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, all at the Kills at Night Center in Hays.  Burial will follow in the Mission Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Clarissa was born on September 2, 1975, in Fort Belknap to Allan and Patricia (Kirkaldie) Eagleman.  She was raised in Hays and Rocky Boy, attending school in both places.  She graduated from Rocky Boy High School in 1993, and in 1995, Clarissa married Alejandro Plascencia.  The couple had three children.  They later divorced, but remained friends.  Throughout her life, Clarissa cared for children, both hers and others.  She moved to Seattle, Washington, in 2017, and remained there until 2019, when she moved to Billings to be near her children and grandchildren.

Clarissa enjoyed cruising around with her family listening to music, especially in her hometown of Hays.  She often spoke about her wonderful memories of her time in Seattle, and she particularly enjoyed having fun.  Clarissa loved children, and caring for them was the absolute delight of her life, but she loved spending time with her grandchildren the most.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, First Son Star; parents, Allan and Patricia Eagleman; sister, Alanna Eagleman; former husband, Alejandro Plascencia; and grandparents, Edward and Rose (Walking Child) Eagleman, Shirley Kirkaldie, and James "Skunk" Brockie.

Clarissa is survived by her children, Alex (Jamekka Beaumont) Plascencia, Ayanna (Tyler Messerly) Plascencia, and Anthony (Tylyn Messerly) Plascencia, all of Billings; four grandchildren, Ky'zarie, Azaleija, Tyler, and Kingston; siblings, Andrea Eagleman of Hays and Kurt Eagleman of Havre; adopted parents, Warren and Candy Morin of Hays; special aunt, Ione Snell of Hays; adopted brothers, Sean and Chase Morin of Hays; significant other, Marcos Castillo Tri-Cities, WA; special nieces, Dionee, Janae, Stacy, and Annalise Johnson of Rocky Boy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
